Y4C Singapore Enriching Exposure Trip Report by Chua Yee Ling (Project Coordinator of Y4C)
Overview
This exposure trip (31 September 2006 1 October 2006) was attended by eight participants. There were two journalists which from Malaysiakini and Oriental Daily joined together. Y4C 2-days tour designed to showcase the citys civil society situation and youth participation in the social building work.

Y4C just received an interview by KL Stream. Oon Yeoh and Jeff Ooi are the owners of KL Stream. Oon Yeoh is putting more efforts on the Radio Podcasting. He is trying hard to explore another channel to deliver the voices of change.

Why Campus Election?
On September 21, the public universities conducted their campus polls to elect the leadership of Student Representatives Council (SRC). The result showed the Pro-establishment students won control 16 universities. Only International Islam University Malaysia (IIUM) managed to buck the pro-government trend with pro-student fronts bagging 28 seats out of 32 seats.
